Default OSX Apps you couldn't live without

It's been a few months and I have some new stuff to recommend. As an old school Mac'er I only keep what is worth keeping when I buy a program, the others get resold. So here's the updated list of recommended apps, most of which you can try in a trial download to see if you like.

Some of the top recommendations are Freeway 5 Pro, Bento, Cover Stream, Filemaker 9 Pro, Djay, Picturesque, Screenflow, and Xslimmer.

QUICKSILVER. (amazing app launcher)
Firefox (better than safari, i HATE safari's keyboard commands)
Adium (multiple service/name IM client)
Unison (Newsgroup reader)
Terminal (for a lot of stuff, primarily IRCII-Epic)
Skype (my girlfriend is back in Perth for the next month and a half!)
Mail (gmail, my own domains, etc.)
VLC (Reads tons of formats)
Perian (Plugins galore for quicktime)
Connect360 (Media server for xbox)
Dropbox (free 2 gigs of online storage, syncs with folder that you define on the computer, integrates with Finder)
Podworks (copy stuff from iphone/ipods)
Port Map (uPNP utility to map ports on the airport express)
Tomato Torrent, or Vuze (Torrenting)
VMWare (for running windows XP, and my bootcamp (Windows 7) partition)
TrueCrypt (encrypted external drive for traveling)
Secrets (easy access to defaults.write preferences editing)
MacTheRipper (for ripping DVDs)
LittleSnitch (network filter, stops apps from phoning home)
iSquint (convert media to ipod/iphone format)
Disk InventoryX (graphical representation of the hard drive, shows you where all the space went...)
iTunes (even tho honestly, i hate it. i wish there was a Winamp for OS10!)

Whats the point in this thread? everyones just repeating the last person and either taking something off or adding something on or a mix of the 2. All of these programs if not MOST Of these apps are legal and if you cant make a request to find something on a board that thrives on modding whats the point in having a mac mod area on this forum? Someone list a god dam app that is worth getting that isnt normal to macs generally and i'll salute you full heartedly until then this thread should just but shut down due to stupidity. Thankyou and have a good day.

dude, shutup. if you don't like how a thread is going, leave. no-one forced you to read the list of programs. also, if you have a program that isn't one fo the mentioned, how about you post it instead of being a dick?
