Default Vista, Leopard...Why Grass?

Has anyone else noticed that both Vista and OSX Leopard betas were previewed with grass wallpapers? I find myself wondering....why grass? Here's some pics of each OS's wallpaper:

Vista:

Grass is universal, and when grass is shot in that way, it's seen as artsy and smart, while still being simple.

Also green is the most restful color that exists, it's passive and induces a calming, relaxed effect. Something that may make you feel like "everything about this computer is so simple, and easy to use." Greens closeness to nature causes the calming, harmonizing effect. That, plus the natural, low, all connecting grass, can make everyone relate, and makes everyone calm, and at ease.

I'm not sure, but that's my guess.

i think it's cause MSoft and Apple are competing to see who will sell more, and there as been much contraversy over vista and leopard, people thinking vista has stolen off of leopard. I disagree but hey, just an opinion.

Well, Vista came before Leopard, but after Tiger. (Ideas that are common in Leopard & Vista that aren't in Tiger & Vista will probably be taken from Vista (hardly any though)
