With the hopes of a dedicated Mac section here on PSPMOD, it has been determined a poll is in order.

    Here's the scoop-

If you are a Mac loyalist, meaning you use only Macs, you want to vote here to increase the possibility of a section tailored to your needs.

If you are just Mac curious, meaning you have both a Mac and PC or you are interested in buying a Mac in the future, voting will also help you get more familiar with your Apple friend.

With a Mac section we could:

-Make guides to perform actions that are tailored to Mac users. There are already many guides to do just about anything to your PSP posted here, however they are all for windows users. With this section we can make guides tailored to the Mac platform that could really help out PSP noobs coming to the site that use Macs. Therefore possibly keeping down useless threads about how to do __________ on a Mac.

-We could also be able to distribute information on how to get the most out of your Mac, by sharing tips and tricks as well as Hardware and software mods for the Mac.

    - If this section gets to be big and supportive, PSPMOD can be known as a Mac friendly PSP modding site and therefore attract a wider audience.

-Finally, and most importantly to me, we could generate support and great minds to write homebrew apps for the Mac that function with the PSP. The homebrew apps for Mac that are out there suck.

I would like to see the following things for the Mac:

    .rco editor

    easy installers for noobs

    popstation!!

    USBMOUNT

There are other things that would be great as well
    :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::
With enough support and people working together we could generate some of this functionality between the PSP and a Mac. We could also get that shit on QJ and be Internet superstars for like 30min, woot!

So if you have Mac lets see those numbers. Mac***uals unite so we can have our own little corner here at PSPMOD.

If you hate Macs, good for you keep using windoze. I don’t care about your PC specs so please refrain from posting them and telling us all about your rig, cause I don’t care. This is for the Mac people.

    Which reminds me-

with a dedicated Mac section, all the Mac people would have somewhere to post about their computer issues/experiences without a Mac vs PC flame war errupting.

i think having a mac section would be great. I don't own a mac but would be interested in knowing more about them. I really haven't got one because not sure about how good they are and if it would be worth switching OS's and all.

now this doesn't need a response from urineanus telling me to go buy one now because i know he is "Mac***ual"

EDIT: why does it bleep out *** in ***ual... urineanus has it in his sig(but in pic)...

Because this is a clean forum.
You can't say lots of things if youve noticed.
Anything you say that would disturb the cleanliness
of the forum gets pretty little *stars*

The forum admin has a 2nd forum dedicated to macs, just FYI...
    http://www.digitalmac.com/forums/
Its nowhere near as active as this forum though.

I am a pc user, but I used to use an apple... an apple IIe later upgraded to an apple IIc (color baby, oh yeah! I love some 8-bit color). It had some killer games. You can emulate it on the psp.

I don't mind the idea of a Mac section though. Might be nice to have a section dedicated to console gaming as well.
    Before you post please

I made this poll public because I knew that the PC die hards were going to show, check out some of the people that vote no to the mac section.

I knew chinese people and nik would show to vote no.

I take great offense to that.

But I agree with the capability, I don't know how to write programs for a OS X, but it would be nice if some of the PSP programs were converted to .app so that I don't have to use my crappy 5 year old slow ass laptop to edit Icons and stuff.
