I just opened up my mini and added another GB of ram. I would have posted photo tuts but I think I am the only mini owner here. If you have a mini shout it out, I will post a tut on opening it up the right way.

I suggest you have a credit card you don't care about and a small magnetic Phillips head. The instructions I read said that the Phillips head did not have to be a magnetic one; so I did not go out any buy one.

After about the 56th time trying to get the tiny screw underneath the blue tooth antenna in properly, I was really wanting that magnetic screw driver.

As well as the ram you can swap the 2.5 SATA out and the optical drive. all the slot loading optical drives from mac laptops work in a mini.

I like the mighty mouse, especially the blue tooth one. Mine is at work, where t needs to be paid for. even with the employee discount it still costs $60 instead of $63. There is virtually no mark-up on Apple products at my store. When I sell a $6000 Mac pro set up, the store makes about $75. The add ons, peripherals, and service plans are where the dollars are made.
