I was just wondering if you guys applied the new security update today. Every mac I have installed it on today has had a slight issue. Nothing serious but kinda annoying. After reboot I get the gray apple screen and the spinning disc, which is where it hangs until it reboots again; and then everything is fine. Including my machine I ran this on 8 Macs today and they all did the same thing. Ranging from my mini to a Quad-core Mac pro. did this happen to some of you Intel Mac users. I'm gonna apply it to one of my PPC's tomorrow and see if it is an Intel issue. No harsh effects just annoying that it requires two boots.

With OS X having such limited problems, I got to find something to bitch about.

That happened to me with an iMac FW update back in December. I just reset the Logic board and it started working fine. But then it happened again, and I removed the other wires from my power strip and then it never did that again. I might update it soon.

Mine got to the grey loading screen....then restarted again before booting up. It seems to be running fine now though...Restarts with no problems.

EDIT: I have noticed that the sound that used to play when I turn on my MBP doesn't play....this is the first time that I've noticed it not play, but I have been only restarting since installing the update. Does it require a cold boot to play the sound? I'm not sure.
