Why do macs

I like to think of the macs invulnerability to viruses this way:
Apple is like a united country where as the PC companies are having wars amongst each other. Apple can stand there and work it's OS with it's hardware so easily, and that's why I think that OS X is so clean cut and safe.

so what do I need to run mac os?

A real Mac for a start.

Mac OS is not going to run well on your Celeron, they don't support the SSE3 instruction set and they have only limited support for SSE2, both of which Mac OS requires to run smoothly. Not only that, your ATi card won't be the best choice for any UNIX system, nVidia has much better drivers. A Hackintosh will also be very buggy and lots of your hardware won't work.

In my opinion you'd be better off sticking with WindowsXP and Linux, buy a real Mac if you want to run Mac OS.

If you just want Mac OS features and speed, I'd get Linux. Linux is modular just like Mac OS, and they are both based off the same UNIX implementation. Some of the commands are even the same. And with Linux you can run a system as light or bloated as you like.

If all you care about is the Mac OS GUI, there's plenty of theme tools, for Windows and Linux.

a call center? do you really need to be older to get a job there? How old do you have to be to get a real job in America? 16? I wanta get some kind of job typing things or something simple like that. I would never do manual labor, I leave that to the immigrants.

so i have to wait longer than everyone else

Also, don't forget those pc companies that bribe and cheat other pc companies for profit.

I'm probably going to wait until apple starts shipping Leopard preinstalled before I get my hands on my MBP (now w/ faster speeds, better gfx card, and up to 4GB ram).
