I've been messing around with creating VM's lately....and thought of something that would be pretty interesting to try, and very cool if it worked. Parallels for Mac currently cost $80.....Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 is currently free. What is stopping us from using Crossover to install Virtual PC on our Macs, and use it to get XP or Vista up and running in a VM?

Or for that matter why not just use qemu with kqemu? It does the same thing as Parallels and it's open source, and I'm pretty sure it has a Mac version. Plus it also has Windows/Linux versions, so you'd be using the same app in all three OS's.

Multi-platform open source software = win.
