The 9a446 build is solid. It is the same build Steve demoed at WWDC 07.

First off I installed to an external drive so I could keep my 10.4.10 in tact.

Spaces is the coolest feature ever. It almost eliminates the need for expose' when you can have up to 16 spaces, 32 with a dual display setup.

Quick look is a feature that should be in every OS, including windows.

Time Machine works great and will now do all the dirty work for me.

Drag any folder into the dock to make a stack. Very handy for the projects you may be working on at the present time.

    Issues I have found:
Although you can run most of your tiger apps off your tiger drive, some will need a reinstall on to the leopard start up disc.

    Such As:

    Parallels desktop
    adium
    Adobe CS3

If you run firefox off your tiger drive, it will cause shenanigans from time to time with the keyboard while typing, such as double characters and wrong characters.

You may have to drop the resolution in windows from the highest setting since it causes conflicts with displaying the windows menu bar. The mac finder menu bar will take its place. I knocked mine down to the setting right before the highest and solved this issue. However it may just be because I am running a wide screen monitor, or not. Either way it works and leopard is badass.

    Vista just got pwned

Think I am full of shit about running leopard?

    Peace out and mac on

I like how you changed the Version from Build 9a466 to Version 10.5 :P
    What, no grass wallpaper? haha

Is that four squared icon next to finder the new icon for Dashboard?

    Very nice man

First off no, I am not going to assist you in finding leopard.

I got some PMs on this issue, and needed to clear that up.

I am enrolled in the Apple Developer's Connection and a build is getting seeded to those of us that did make WWDC sometime in the coming weeks. I just could not wait any longer.

As for the Michael Moore movie, yes I pirated his film long before it was in theaters. 3/5 for mediocre entertaining shock journalism. The guy can make a few good points but it is highly over shadowed by his hypocrisy.

Lets break it down like this.

The corporations are only out to make money off of us, and do not have our best interest in mind; according to Michael. Yet corporations publish his books and own the film studios making/distributing his movies.

Anyways leopard works great. I have run into a few bugs here and there that I have documented. I am waiting to report them until I have my actual assigned copy and a registration.

Spaces eliminates the need for expose', for me at least. I suppose it is a matter of preference but I think everyone that gets a taste will agree.

you shouldn't need parallels anymore, I thought leopard had something similar built in.

hey urineanus, does the stacked feature really help that much, like the reviews says they do?

I know one thing - my next computer will certainly be a MacBook Pro. I want to run Leopard on it.

I also have a copy of this build. It is solid but ran slow on my PPC machines. No where near what I would call acceptable for every day use. I would get the beach ball for just opening up Safari.

I also dig the spaces and stacks. But for some reason I am unable to remap the spaces default key (f8) to f7. On my iBook I use f8 for dashboard.

I do hope they put a default wallpaper in this version, because I do use the standard blue wavy one they have given with each new build.

I also hope they will give you a choice in the menu bar. The transparent bar bugs me.

Counting the days till i get my copy!

Yea, I'm hoping that they allow you to set the transparency level for the menu bar
