So, It CAN be removed after all. Sweet.
However, I won't be buying this iteration of the phone anytime soon.
^Opinion may change if some mods for the phone are released in the future.

Sorry, not to flame, but this phone is terrible, I bought it yesterday to fool around with it, and it just doesent have ANY great features... no txt, no messages, the GPS sucks (compared to my helio) but its col as an iPod

He might, I wish I did. I useally get my money by working. Ill save up if I REALLY want something. Any way, I just have money if I wanna go somewhere. If I wanna go to Ritas ill take $20 because then I usually go and just go out with my friends. Im the one that always has money

well if he has a phone he likes why pay that much to mess with it. wait until a friend has one and then mess with it.... and buying it to use as an ipod is strange since you can get an 80GB ipod for cheaper

it can be removed, but the iphone still only works with the at&t/cingular service.
If you put in a card from a different carrier it gives an error. I hate how closed source and proprietary mac stuff is. You dont own their product when you buy it, they still have 100% control of what happens to it.

I work for my money, but I rake in usually $300-800 a week, so this sort of price isnt really important to me anymore. And thats what I do, I buy electrionics and fool around with them, small ones, also because My uncle wanted one as well So i thought id give it to him (for maybe $50 less) after i play with it.
I would use it on verizon, So I wouldnt be wasting airtime for the web. The iphone is only good with conference calls and the mp3 player. The features arent that great, thats why I bought its competion, the helio Ocean and kept that instead.
