I'm running Windows XP Professional with SP 3 as my BOOTCAMP OS on the Macbook Pro. The only reason for this, is so that I can run VBA Link (GBA/GBC emulator). I got everything installed and working...Except, when I open a rom (Pokemon Fire Red) nothing happens, and it'll say -400+% (0, 60 FPS) at the top...Basically, the damn game doesn't load. I partitioned 32GB for Windows; should I have split my HDD half n' half? Would hard drive space even matter with this? I know this'll work on XP because on the VBA website, it shows screenshots of the emulator running on XP. I'm kinda pissed, as BOOTCAMP is only useful for emulators (at least for me).

    Help me out please...Thanks.

VBA link never really works, it sometimes crashes. use multiplayer on No$GBA. just set link type as auto.

I fixed this...I had to set FPS Skip to 0. I thought it was already at 0, but it turns out it was set at 1.

Why not use a native Mac app? VBA has one.

Why pay $1000 for a computer with less power and features?

I'm happy running Snow Leopard with the option to switch over to XP Professional SP3 at random. Not to mention, the Intel i5 that came standard is fast...The optional Intel i7 is even faster.
