If this is an original, Phat 1000, do a NAND dump and restore. As long as your MMS is using DC8 (Despertar del Cementario v8) you should be OK

Take out the battery and the MMS (Magic Memory stick) and just use your AC Adapter. Report back if your able to get it to boot to the XMB
