Disturbia
8/10
This movie was very good, original.. alot of goofs here and there.
At some points can be a bit suspensful.
I do think that the movie needed a different title, because about 3/4 of the movie was not about "Disturbia" at all it was about how he got in to the postion of house arrest, and how his mom disconnects his itunes and XBL.
Good twist to the movie was the girl, made the movie alot less boring.
Not really one of those movies that you need to pay alot attension to, because the actors lay it out pretty plain and simple on dialog.
At some points it seems like your not watching a suspense thriller, but more of a Teen movie.
Overall this movie was kept me on edge. And I was not dissapointed upon leaving the theatre.

Thanks for all the reviews everyone....I doubt I'll see it, especially if it is a lot like a teen movie. Plus, Maria hates the main actor.

My gf hated it, but I actually liked it. it was different, not your typical slasher flic that's for sure. it was actually more like a comedy/drama, with like 20 minutes of suspense in it. Not half bad. I've seen worse, A History Of Violence for instance...biggest waste of $14 ever. I say only $14, because the popcorn was quite tasty. |

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
History of violence was a BEAUTIFUL film! One of the greatest ever made!
Maybe you dont understand the concept of film making and how that went down? were you expecting something else? |

it wasnt rape, it was ***ual tension, or make up *** if you want, you need to understand David Cronenbergs (sp?) style of directing... have you seen crash? (1996, not the acadamy award one)
you may think its horrible, but im looking at it from a film makers point of view, the cinemotragrapy was amazing, acting was brilliant, too much to list |
