...in my opinion is one of the best bands

but im my perspective their first two albums "Self Titled" and "Toxicity" were and by far are the best

and i find it saddening that they are going their own ways

but i sure as heck am glad i have their music to listen to,especially Serjs new album coming out soon!

ya they are really sticking it to the establishment by sticking with major labels and marketing firms, as well as being show cased on MTV and clear channel radio. Way to fight the man.

But hey at least they are not 30 something and wearing silly masks and going by numbers.

On a lighter note down the sun was neat.

i like slipknot,and system,so,and i dont run from sunshine,i play football,so sunshine,and VERY hot days are natural

people there scare me,i happen to go to no fear,i happen to like all of the fight gear

AND im 16,but i dont see the tie to slipknot and my age

Not necessarily true. They can ride the coat tails of the big producers to get my popularity. If they get more people listening to them and thinking about what they are trying to say it works. Problem is people are stupid fan bois and listen to them cus they are "popular" and don't actually think about what they are listening. s.o.a.d. has its moments but nothing stellar. Look at The Daily Show or Colbert Report they are on a major network owned by Viacom and they hit millions of homes with a message. It's all about people wanting to think about it or not.

last time i went to hot topic was to buy a spiked bracelet... its now a collar for my dog (the little one)

i was a fan of soad when they first came out, but my music tastes changed and i lost interest in them. the self titled album will always be cool to me though

i agree,i think that was their best,and i do like other bands,i just named those,my age has nothing to do with the music i listen to,i like various different genres,example,my collection varies fromSystem,to a completly different band,like AC/DC,Nirvana,Guns N' Roses, Beach boys,i could keep going,i like plenty of bands,again,my age has nothing to do with it

also,this is just everyones opinion,just because i say sysetm is an awesome band,someone else might say they suck,its just our thoughts on them

Thats pretty ****ed up. Small people are bitches but still dude that was ****ed up. I still listen to S.o.a.d. not often nor in the fast few months but they aren't that bad they just aren't interesting anymore. Sounds like you have a deep homophobic experience with S.o.a.d. I feel sorry for you...
