As for the movie, it was really really long. I saw it the night it came out and nearly fell asleep. Not to say it was boring. I especially enjoyed the scenes where jack is losing his mind. I'd say rent it.

I really liked Pirates 3, I didn't even notice how long it was until I looked at my watch after it was over.

Am I the only one who hated this movie? I loved the first film, and the part played by Depp is consistently great, but I thought most of the third film was very unnecessary and was full of plot holes. I also thought Davy Jones being held to ransom on his own ship was a bit dodgy. He would never have stood for that!

On the plus side, I can't think of a better seen of any recent film better than when Jack escaped from the Admirals ship using a cannon and a piece of rope. Haven't laughed so much in ages.
