Transformers Review
Transformers
Director-Michael Bay
Let it be known I am an Avid Fan who expected disappointment. And guess what....didn't get it. From the movies bad ass opening straight into the action to the final battle, you stay absorbed. The characters are just as the should be. Only updated a bit....and guess what...IT WORKS! All of the voice actors are unknowns except for THE ORIGINAL Optimus Prime and Megatron voice actors. As an adaptation of the original series...it falls short. But as a re-adaptation of the story behind the Action Figures it is absolutely phenomenal. The acting is top notch. The story is intriguing. Shia Labouf gives the best performance of his career. As do his co-stars. But the real stars of the movies are the intricately done transformers. Visually in both forms, they are utterly believable, and the transformation sequences are detailed and also very believable. Little details on the vehicles add a nice touch of humor for fans, such as 'To Punish and Enslave' on the side of Barricade's car form. And even pokes at the original series, that do in fact work as jokes without being hokey. This movie could very well be the biggest one this summer. And I would suggest it to anyone on these boards...and anyone I'd meet randomly. See it. It'll blow you away.
9.5/10

They left it open for a sequel, but true fans will see why it won't work after seeing the movie. Also, the spiderman sequels were lame IMHO. Glad you liked the review. And mime, this is nothing like Beast Wars. |

Die hard was AWESOME!!
Transformers was FUCKING AWESOME!!!
I was astonished by this film, i just got out of the 11:10 show, and it was hilarious, and I was blown away, everything was so detailed, and I'm just loving how everything was done. I didnt really like John Tuturattos (sp bigtime) acting, but everything else really blew me away, the final battle scene, was just crazy. As for a second... To be quite honest I dont think they left anything open, but its a most likely, with how this movie did, ofcourse there will be. I bought many of the toys, including barricade, bumble bee, optimus, starscream, etc. Megatron didnt seem worth $50 at the time, but this movie was insane and made me fall in love with the decepticons (i usually like villians, ex. Venom, but as a child, i always loved the autobots).
Anyway, 10/10... and thats being HARSH! (Like always) |

Oh dude, I saw it last night. It's definitely the best movie of this millennium so far, and probably the best movie I've ever seen. We went to a sneak peek and it was PACKED, not an empty seat in the house, and when the credits started rolling everyone in the theater stood up and CLAPPED! That's just how good it was.
11/10.
This isn't a movie, people - it's a life experience.

I Agree with Ed. I work in projections at a movie theater. And we preview all the film before the public sees it. So I saw it Sunday night. I hear the game is just as awesome. I picked up it up myself...just about to sit down and play it |
