When you go, take your own amp to play it through. That way it will sound the same when you get it home

i got my amp from them and i do believe i saw that they had a few down there last week. i'll just ask to use it since i own it and want to hear wat it will sound like when im at home. its a Tubeworks Mosvalve RT2100. i havent heard any other guitars other than my acoustic/electric so i dont know what to compare it to.

i had a warlock, thought it was cool, and it wasnt till i got my Ibanez that i realized how loud and how much the warlock hummed. Plug in the Ibanez and its quite as all get out till i hit some strings haha.

i refuse to buy a warlock.
i despise them.

but i still have to wait til tuesday to try some more out.
so far what i plan on trying are; jacksons, ibanez, and that washburn again.

i guess one thing to ask, is what kind of stuff u plan on playing, and what music styles? cause ibanez are definatly more of a metal guitar, where as other guitar brands are more for different styles? yaknowwhatimean? lol

ya metal. thats why i want to check out the jacksons, ibanez and guitars of that nature. just look at my 3 userbars and look them up if u want to hear what i like. i might see if the store gets any ESPs or LTDs.

if ure looking towards metal, in definatly suggest ibanez over any other brand. Maybe you'll like a different brand, but Ibanez sound, and construction is perfect for metal.

I guess you know bout the edge three, and how much of a pain it is to tune tho, or i would hope you know. I know i didn't, till i bought a guitar bout 2 years ago with a floating bridge, took me bout 4 days to figuire out how to tune it, and i can tune by ear, etc.

just incase u didnt know, cause i know it made my life a nightmare for those 4 days, but i havent had to retune that guitar, or the ibanez since i got them.

I have a tubeworks amp too. There arent many of them around. I like it though, good crunchy overdrive but i switched out the 12ax7 for a 12ay7 just so i'd have more control over the lower gain settings.
I hate floated trems (other than kahler of dourse, those are perfect). I have a floyd rose on my rg570 but i hated it so i ended up blocking it off.
Anyway, play every ibanez model they have as well as a few others, iron maiden played strats so there really arent rules to what you have to play

my bass guitar is an ibanez, it's built really solid n sounds wicked but it's pretty hard to slap and pop on when i compare it to some of my friends bass'. I also own a fender strat 'remake' which imo sounds awesome but my amp isn't very good and gets a lot of feedback. I would suggest something like a silvertone which is quite cheap and reasonably good quality too... although a 'metal' type silvertone might cost a bit more but i haven't really checked the prices in a while.

Get a drum kit

best intrument i have ever learned. I used to learn guitar until a hobo in my town started playing guitar outside the supermarket, kinda put me off

i also play piano and xylophone (i know xylophone is crappy , but hey its good fun

)

I have an ESP LTD EC-1000. For metal, it's a great guitar. But it plays everything from metal to classic rock so that's a great option. I don't play much metal but I have on occasion and it sounds great. Maybe try the EC-400's they're a little cheaper than the EC-1000's.

so i was at a different guitar shop today. tried a few ibanez, dont know which kind, and i hated them. the necks were square and thick and the pickups were crappy sounding but these were cheap ibanez, like around 150 each. tried an epiphone les paul and it was decent. then picked up the gibson les paul and it blew my mind away. i realized i hate V shaped guitars, i played a jackson RR5, esp ltd alexi-600, gibson flying v, and an ibanez xiphos 7 string. i hate the v shape, but all of those had nice necks and roared. i played a few different teles and strats but mine felt better but mine also hums worse than those. im still going to the otehr shop on tuesday so i will mess around with more then.

Ewwwww, i dont like les pauls. They are way too overrated imo.

if you can learn to play the classical guitar, you can learn to play any instrument. Don't get that with piano or the drums or flute etc.

and btw i said CLASSICAL, not electric...two very different styles of playing, unless your playing led zeppelin or van halen, or that type.
