You are a fucking idiot. Escape from New York came out in 1981. The first Metal Gear game wasn't even made until six years later in 1987. I don't know if you've ever played that game, but it's not like Snake had a personality to base anything off of it was an 8 bit game. Escape from L.A was not made until 1996 which does give some time to base a character on Snake except for the whole lack of a perspnality thing. Metal Gear Solid which you definetly could base a character off of was not released until 1998. So in conclusion you are dumb for saying that.

THAT has got to be the most cheesy tralier I have ever seen. Its so bad, they use video game clips lol

lol talk about it. I think some no name will play snake and he will become a celeb real fast. Another thing that concernes me is that what if this is all fake? I have seen zelda movie traliers, halo, they're all fake.

Video game movies always attract large amounts of fans. He probably won't become famous though, most video game movie adaptations aren't shown in theathres. I think MGS could be an exception, such a godly title deserves box office.

I hear that the director is going to be Kurt Wimmer.. The same guy who directed Equilibrium and Ultraviolet.. Equilibrium is with Christian Bale and it is a great movie.. Ultraviolet was that hot chick from Resident evil, horrible movie tho..

I would love to see this in CGI also but i dont think its going to be live action..

Does David Hayter have acting experience or just voice acting? coz snake needs to be played by some1 who can act well but is not too well known... I think im gonna have to play the role of otacon since im such a hard core hacker!!

Yeah, now that I think about it, a MGS not in CGI would be pretty cheesy, even if David Hayter played Snake, cause he doesn't look that much like him.
