Game designers, Authors, and Movie Directors just don't get it. Literature, Gaming, Movies, and Anime (especially anime) are an Art of their own! Nothing and i mean nothing should be transfered into a different art than itself. You DON'T take and Anime and turn it into a live-action movie! It just isn't goin to work! Its taking away the emotional and beauty that anime really is. Same with gaming. Its an art of its own and shouldn't be turned into a flippin movie! Its a game and thats what its meant for! I'm disapointed in the Dragonball Evolution movie making the big screen. I grew up with this wonderful anime and thats what it should stay as- an ANIME! Could you imagine Fullmetal Alchemist as a live action film? It would take every awesome thing away from it! I'm still gonna go see Dragonball evolution, though. Its kinda like you have to, even though you hate it.

Actually yes i CAN see that as a movie. Why not? with modern CGI they can easily translate it onto the big screen. The story would have to be a standalone but other then that there is no problem what so ever.

I honestly think it's a terrible idea, people will complain (for good reasoning) that the voices sound nothing alike, and nor do the characters look like there anime counter-part. There should never be an anime-to-real world film movie, ever. I honestly think they always fail, the only way you could do it is to play it in the same universe with different characters. They could do CGI or whatnot, but I think this movie will be a complete failure.

Exactly. Anime is anime. Movies are movies. You don't switch them up.

The Transformers movie worked, because the main characters are fictional robots. That being said, all you have to do is get them to look similar. Now, getting people who look like anime characters and sound like them is INCREDIBLY hard.

And to the Naruto thing, I hate that anime, I honestly would never want to see a Naruto movie, and if you think this is just because I hate it, I would never want to see a Bleach, Inu Yasha, or Tri-Gun movie. I already am hating the fact that they decided to disgrace Cowboy Bebop by making that into a movie with real life characters.

If there was no such thing as "Fanboys" there would be no film industry, game industry, or computer industry. I have a friend who owns 5 PS3s. Fanboys are crazy. And we didn't bring it about by enjoying an anime. If we didn't enjoy the anime, we would have never seen the last episode.

I can't tell you how much this is a dissappointment to me. About a year ago I heard rumors going on about a sequel to GT, called Dragonball X...and I was really looking forward to it but seroiusly! u can't just make anime characters to live people, plus...the movie looks like crap just from the preview...nobody looks like they should except piccolo (he just looks cool) and BULMA holding a weapon?! anybody who saw the movie who doesn't watch dbz would think that the anime is a piece of crap....the movie is a disgrace to the show!! they never should have thought about making this movie!! really! where's vegeta?! nobody will sound like they're supposed to and this aint martial arts..(not on Z) it's mainly flying and teleporting and shooting and stuff!...i don't know why Akira Toriyama decided to let them make the movie, i just don't know why!
