Default X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Yes the time has come for this movie to bare itself to the public. ok technically it won't be realeased for another few weeks but everybody that reads the news knows about the workprint leak so discussing the story is a definite possibility.

Anyways. I have read the Origin of Wolverine. Heck I own an original. So to some extend i knew what to expect from this movie. What I didn't know is that the actual origin of wolverine comprises of some 5 minutes of movie. The part before the credits and the opening credits itself tell how Logan was a kid and what he did growing up. That was it. They even changed a few details to make them more "movie-like" It is too bad they didn't elaborate more on this part but no use complaining for the rest of the movie still was ahead of me, leaving some 90 minutes or so.

The movie then goes through only 1 part of wolverines life. How he got the adamantium skeleton and how he hates victor creed. The name "weapon X" was dropped somewhere but so much for details. After this the story goes all over the place. Remy "Gambit" Lebeau and Scott "Cyclops" Summers get tied into the story sort of offhandish without any real contribution to the story what so ever.

In other words: Story wise Wolverine did not do itself anygood. There was so much more to tell then just this skeleton of a story but a director has to make some decisions about what to do with as little time as 97 minutes.

Now i am not complaining though. I got to see Wolverine do the one thing i like him doing best. Go berserk and be brutal. Too bad that there was not even a drop of blood involved in the fights. I am certain that that was not because of the workprint cause even the finished scenes had no blood what so ever.

Anyway it was still a very nice movie and i enjoyed it from beginning till end but that was mostly because of the action and not because of the story.

X-men Origins: Wolverine is one of the many best movies I have seen this year as well as had been the one I'd been waiting for. If you are a Logan (Wolverine) or Hugh Jackman fan then you need to watch this movie.

I remember watching the original X-men as a kid and Wolverine had, and still is, my favorite character. I've noticed in some of the newer cartoons that they've changed the name to Wolverine and the X-men. I guess he's just that popular!

Fixed.
On a side note, I hate the X-men movies they are all totally wrong, not only that but what the fuck was up with gambit in this movie? And where the hell did Cyclops find those glasses? If you guys are unaware, the reason Cyclops can't control that beam of his is because his parents pushed him and havok out of an airplane. (what else to do? they were being abducted by aliens.)
And to be honest, I don't think wolverine looks anything like Hugh jackman.

Does anybody else get the feeling that these movies are catering to a younger audience than they should be?

I have watched that film and seeing that movie, which
I borrowed from my friend, (copy was not yet fully edited)...
I like it a bit but I am not happy with the endings...

I've read a lot reviews saying that the film is not good...
