I think this is his 2nd best album. Nothing can beat the Marshall Mathers lp, but this is really good. Beautiful, underground, Bagpipes from Bagdad, Medicine ball. album is great.

His style has definitely mellowed out.. but since Encore it's just gotten wacky and hit-or-miss IMO.
I heard a few tracks... weirdly catchy beats but the lyrics are still decent, just not as hard as back in the day.

Eminem has never really gone after anyone hard. its always been like girl singers, and boy bands. all the real people he killed went after him first..

also relapse is not a soft album, its dark and most violent, disturbing, awesomeness..favorite line "I was born with a dick in my head, yeah fucked in the head."

To be honest, I prefer the Slim Shady LP over the Marshall Mathers LP.

I'll have to check out the album later.
