Default Tech N9ne - Sickology 101

if you havent heard this yet you pretty much need to.

The second of Tech N9ne's "Collabos" series, featuring pretty much everybody from Strange music plus Krayzie Bone, Crooked I and Chino Xl

"Midwest Choppers 2" tech raps the fastest in his life after a cold intro. hell they all do.

but yeah

Delivery - 10/10 tech is always on point with this shit

Style - 10/10 every featured artist has swag, doesnt sound monotonous or retarded, some are a little loud but its cool.

Lyricism - 8/10 pretty much every beat gets murdered with intricate lyricism: wordplay, metaphors, similies, the works. except for a few where the featured artists arent too good and kill the song. *sigh*

Instrumentals - 10/10 every beat switches up multiple times, doesnt have a mundane loop, guitars, pianos and such are incorporated into songs, and i even think a trumpet of some sort on "In the Air" (along with that insane reverb on the hook)

Engineering - 10/10 second best engineering ive ever head on a hip hop album. plenty of added distortion/screwed/chopped effects, ad libs are on points, techs ever-present "Cha!" is in there, nice echoes and fades, pretty much perfect on this front as well

Would I recommend to new listeners? Yes.

I think his last cd "killer" was a masterpiece. On song composition alone it blows sickology out the water. I been listening to Tech since day one. I live in St.louis so we hear a lot of midwest shit from around the way.
