its not typical scary, like dark hallway and a guy jumps out. its more like reality scary. stuff that can definetly happen. august underground is scary because it seems like a video tape someone found, and it depicts a couple guys doing harm to people. the quality is terrible and theres random stuff thrown in to add to the effect. its done quite well. |

Its usally wha u dont see thats the best. Than wha u do see, like these movies now these days. Too much banwagon wit em their all the same. I prefer older movies like the The Haunted, the one made in the 60's or so. Two new movie that I did like was one High Tension, it was freaky and, it has u wonder wha goin on really in da movie. Identity was another. Should check em out I know u will like em. Horror that toss reality is coo. |

nope not even close. nothign can touch the italian and japanese. you ever want to see a good one get imprint by takashi mike one of the masters of horor episodes they banned it.. pretty messed up..its the censors that screw it up over here. that and people here arent as twisted.some come sort of close but they will never match the foriegn movies. and the thing about the japanese movies is its not all gore and guts its all metal. and that can out do gore anyday

audition had that scene with the piano wire. the sound on it was disturbing. the only really good horror movie that american released was Saw. it was more creative then the usual movie and made u think a lil bit |

I LOVE Saw. Most modern horror is teenagers screaming, but these movies make you think about a lot of things, escpecialy Saw II.
