saw 2 didnt live up to the original. the traps lacked the originality that the first one had. modern horror are either 1. teen movies (a stranger calls) or 2. remakes (the omen). nothing much is original or creative anymore. u have to look to forgein horror movies or older horror films. the 70s had alot of decent horror, u just have to be able to distinguish the crap from the quality

yeah the 70s was the best decade for horror movies it was a boom in horror movies. then the 80s was the cheezy splatter movies. then from th e90s on its been a mix of both. its all sfx now no story.

Yea thats why all u see are remakes of the original because I guess its to much pressure on the devlopers. I guess in there panic they just here we go wants again simulate the real thin. Yea u do need to open our eyes to see the crap from the goods.

only problem is they are killing alot of these movies by doing remakes..some are good and some just suck. the hills is definetly one of the best remakes ever made.

Well stuff is mysterious, cant be labeled anythin. Like u said a mix, stuff has everythin and more.

So yea, I now own the Hills Have Eyes, and I admit it really pushes the envalope...acctually no, its tears it open and reads the letter. I was really pissed how they all just coward for awile, but the anksty Teenager had enough hormones to kick start that pussy into over drive. All in all that movie ruled around the part of retrebution, however the beginning was freaky... And for thoe of you who saw the move, Beast really kicked some ass eh!
