i realise all i do on this site is ask questions , but douse anyone know how to compres music in a small but psp ready fomat . any help on this subject wood be apreshiated

Well, any time you compress something you lose quality.... because the psp understands MP3's the best way to make them smaller is probably to use a smaller bps rate. I'm recording off my cd's at 192/bps but that's extremely high and the songs themselves are probably twice the size they need to be. You should be able to configure this in whatever ripper you are using to copy your music.

try encoding at 56kbps, the quality is still pretty much the same, some consider it AM radio quality

Like i Said in my other thread the comnpression to use is called ATRAC3 and you can get the program to convert and load on your PSP free! just look at my thread in the music section.
