i cant watch!!

ok !! i have a psp that is 3.51!!!
i use a usb cable to conect my psp to my pc!!!when it comes i make a file and name it videos!!!then i put my video inside that file!!!
after it is finish coppying i go on my psp and i see nothin in my videos!!
when i come back to my pc it is not in that file too!!!!!!!!

so plz help where is that file ??????

because my memory is comin down each time i do that!!and i just tried 5 videos and all of them r gone!!!! i lose 125memory!!!!!

First, to make sure it's not your memory stick, format it by going on your PSP to settings, and then Format Memory Stick.

Then, put the video in the VIDEO folder on the memory stick and then tell us what happens.

the problem is probably he didnt put a .thm with it

make sure to get a thm file and name it the same as the movie...drop in the movie folder

the video will still show up under videos without the THM file. thats just used to display a thumbnail of the video in the XMB. without it, you just have a blank box where the thumbnail image would be

just a free video converter such as pspvideo9 to convert your videos to MP4 format and they should work

mine doesnt show up w/o a .thm it says no videos...weird

i just realized that happend when i was at 2.71...back when there was no video folder...maybe thats why it didnt work...now i just always use a .thm

the advancement in the psp's video playback have allowed users to almost drag and drop a video into the psp's video folder and it will play IF its a mp4. they did away with the old method of naming it a certain code, and needing a THM file in order to display a thumb in the XMB. hopefully in the future, the psp will be able to play videos of any codec and not have to be converted. drag, drop, watch.

i just format my memory stick and i use pspvideo9 some of my videos shows up but still have problems with others!!!

the psp's video playback isnt flawless unfortunally... i blame the friggen mp4 format. they should have encoded the player to be able to play any video you want, just drag it onto the memory card
