Hey guys you might want to check out this site. It's made for the Ds but you might be able to convert the vids. Its got some great classic movies and some really good books as well.

No you're mistaken, those books are "illegal," Making that site part piracy. Those books listed in their archives are still being sold by the authors.

Actually my friend you are wrong. While the books may still be being sold anyone can sell them. Anyone has the right to sell/use them. If you wish check with this site and you will find everything on that site. Internet Archive

Lmao? sthe right to sell/use? I believe thats called copywrite fruad. Unless the Author and or Publisher gives consent to use of the material in that way its fine. I don't reckon so for this site.

Actually all the files were either made before 1923 (which puts them in the pubnlic domain by default), something went wrong with the copyright or the copyright has not been renewed, or consent has been given. And I read somewhere that these files can be sold by anyone but I will not be surprised if you can fauolt me on this. But a file that is in the public domain can be obtained by anyone without consent of the creator.

The public domain, as defined in Wikipedia, "comprises the body of knowledge and innovation (especially creative works such as writing, art, music, and inventions) in relation to which no person or other legal entity can establish or maintain proprietary interests." This basically means that the right of ownership of belongs to the public at large, and anyone may make use of this material.

It's defaulted at 1908 last I remember.. I'm sure there is something the site holds that goes against the policy of the Public domain, but I've had my rant >.<.

It's definetly 1923. As it is something like 95 years or so
