Default Ok could someone please help me.

Most of the info in the stickies seem very outdated (2005??), and the methods of putting video on your PSP seemed to have changed. I havnt put a video on my PSP in ages, and have deleted my old ones a long time ago too. I cant remember how I did it to begin with. I am now incapable of putting them on my PSP. I know it has to be .mp4 and ive tried countless programs including psp video 9 to convert it to that format. Converting it works fine, but they just wont show up on the Video section on my PSP.

Which of these do I need to do?

1:
PSPDrive:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\ (without THM file)
2:
PSPDrive:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\ (with THM file)
3:
PSPDrive:\PSP\VIDEO\ (without THM file)
4:
PSPDrive:\PSP\VIDEO\ (with THM file)

Also, is it necessary to change the name of the file to M4V03340.mp4 etc, and what are those numbers in the file name about?

The only time I saw ANYTHING on my PSP was when I rename the file to M4V01337.mp4 and put it in PSPDrive:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\ along with a THM file. I dont know if the THM file is actually necessary. Is it? I dont even remember using THM back in the old days. Anyway, this method just ended up showing 'Unsupported Data'.
I cant believe its this hard to put some videos on my PSP.
Oh and btw im using firmware 3.40 OE-A
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I cant figure out how to copy files automatically with the new PSP Video 9 2.25
The programs looks really different then what the older version. I go to click on 'copy to device' in Library but it just does nothing even though my PSP is connected and everything.
In Library I see 'Local Files' and 'Device Files'.
The video which I have converted is in local files. So I highlight it and click on 'copy to device' but nothing happens. Same with 'move to device'

Firmware Installed: 4.01 M33-2

Default Ok could someone please help me.

File names eg MAQ10034 & MAQ10034.THM go in the 100ANV01 folder these are MP4 AVC format.

File names eg M4V10055 and M4V10055.THM go in the 100MNV01 folder these are MP4.

If you omit the theme then you wont get a thumbnail of the video appear in the video menu.

Any MP4 video formatted for the psp you can put in the VIDEO folder on the mem stick. But I always put them in the MP_ROOT folders because I like to see the themes which I always generate using psp video9 V1.74.

You dont need to change the file number unless you have two file numbers the same, hence the need to change one.

Not tried psp video9 the new version, so can't help you there...sorry.

Wait im still confused. You said that 'M4V10055 and M4V10055.THM' etc should go in the MP_ROOT folder but then you said that you dont need to change file names... You would have to change the file name in the first place for it to be called M4V10055.
And you said I can put it in my VIDEO folder. Where exactly in the memory stick do I create the folder? Cause im very sure ive tried putting a VIDEO folder in everywhere and none of it worked, nothing showed up. And when I put a file in the 100MNV01 folder along with a THM, I got nothing but 'Unsupported Data'.
