Default DVD to PSP using Xilisoft DVD Ripper

Hey All,

I am using Xilisoft DVD Ripper on a Mac. When I convert the video to an MP4 the movie des a split second pause every two to 3 seconds? It does it on both my computer and PSP. Do you know what would be causing this? I have tried all PSP setting that Xilisoft has provided with all the same results.

Thanks for looking and hope to receive some help on this issue!!!!

Thanks!!!
Bernie

Default DVD to PSP using Xilisoft DVD Ripper

I'm using xilisoft as well for ripping movies!!!

I believe it's because of how it's being converted and the size of the file. For cartoons like Justice League no problem, but for a movie I do get the gap in movement and sound.

for Xilisoft don't rip every chapter in the movie file at once, I find ripping smaller parts like a few chapters at a time and it rips fine without this error.

Or it could be how you are converting them. I let WinAvi (.com) do the converting for me, no problems. I got both of the serials from.... (hm, better stop there. )

Let me know if this helps!!!!

use PSP Video 9, good audio and video conversion, no pauses or anything like that.

EDIT:
here > PSP Video 9

But if I do the chapters seperately then I can't watch the movie as a whol and have to watch in parts?

PSP 9 is for PC only, I use a MAC

It's already in parts. It follows one after another. movies are in chapters and xilisoft cuts them by chapter then chapter. so it's already broken up you just didn't notice it because they follow one after another.

For example when you skip chapters using your dvd player you are playing different -seperate- parts thatmake up the movie. It's already broken up on your dvd. Burning a few chapters at a time is less taxing then buring 18 at a time or more.

Try it it might work out for you. When I copied a history of violence the sound and imagery was.... (What's the terminology?) out of synch? But burning a few at a time worked.

Strange is PSP9 doesn't work for me. "PSP is not detected" or something. For converting winavi is great. WinAVI 3GP/MP4/PSP/iPod Video Converter

problem is it doesn't seem to be for mac? Damn, sorry but i dunno of others for mac.

But try buring a fw chapters at a time.
