I have lots of other devices at home that use MP4, like a few ipod video/iphone. Would mp4's encoded from those devices work on the PSP? Cause encoding takes so long.

Or what about which settings/resolution I could use so it plays on all mp4 players like the ipod/psp?

yes you can play ipod mp4s on the psp. the resolution wont be the same, but they will play

I just started playing around with pimpstream. Man that sucker is crazy. I was trying to figure out how you could get an mp4 to play at full screen while streaming with pimpstream. I kinda figured that there might be an even better streaming program for the psp that offered more optoins.... You know.... like controls while you're watching the stream with the ability to pause, rewind, and show the buffering panel as it goes along. And for that matter, why does pimp stream only buffer a few frames ahead as it plays. Can't it just buffer the whole thing and start the video after an initial loading period like flash used to do way back in it's experimental days? Just a thought........

PIMPstreamer is okay but will have to be improved. Not really usable for. One day it will be very usable. I wish there was something like XBMC for PSP.

Yeh, you can play MP4 Videos on the PSP but im not sure about 3GP Format!

Well for what it's worth, wifi streaming on the psp with lil to no lag is cool in my eyes.
