How do i watch anime mkv or avi video's

I looked on the forum but cound not find how to play anime files i download onto my psp. could anyone help me out and what version of psp i would need for the mod thanks alot.

try converting the files to mpeg-4

What program do you use to do the conversion? i know there are quite a few programs out there but what would do the best.

not sure, i have a program that converts my dvds to mpeg-4 already, tried googleing it

i know if u use the allok 3gp converter u can convert to psp's full resolution as an avi(462X272)I believe, and play it with psplayerMT. or you can just use the allok conv. to convert the movie to mp4 and just stick it in the mp_root video folder.
