Can't access my MPEG4 movies....

I have converted my copy of Transformers into MP4 and placed it in the MP_ROOT\100MNV01 and verified that it is there and when I go to watch it on my PSP, I get a "No Videos were found" notice.

Am I missing something?

If you only have an MP4 video file place it in the VIDEO folder in the root of your memory stick. Then it'll show up.

Yeah, I read that on a google search, but I do not see a Video sub folder anywhere.....

First off, what firmware are you on?
Secondly, Back up everything on your computer, then format your memory stick from system settings. All the folders that you need should appear in the right places. And the VIDEO folder isn't a subfolder. It's in the same place as the PSP folder.

Alright, I'll do a format...haven't done that yet.

Then that'll fix everything, whenever you get a new memory stick/other storage, format it for the device you're using.
