you can mod a ds, but it requires you to buy a special cartridge that takes flashdrives, and instal software and stuff, its a whole lot harder than modding psps and ends up costing almost the same

my friend had a ds and wen he bought a psp i shoed him how to hack it and he said psp's are so much eaiers

ds modding is a whole lot more limited though, i can play roms and stuff, but it wont be able to handle stuff like the psp can

but homebrew for it should be ineresting because of the touch sreen

Games, thats about it. As mentioned its harder to do homebrew than a psp. Look up advance wars DS and Metriod prime hunters for some good time wasters.

If you are looking for things other than gaming with a DS, then you are in for a world of hurt...there isn't much other there.

    check: http://ds.qj.net

But the games are top notch...and let me clear up some confusion righ now:

The DS is now way easier to homebrew than a PSP.

For $130 for the DS lite, $45 for the DS Simply, or $90 for the DS Simply and 1GB micro-sd....plug, drop games or programs right on it, and then play.

You don't have to worry about firmware, and it is WAY harder to brick it.

    August 2006 - DS homebrewed

Embrace diversity.....play both handhelds the way they weren't meant to be played!
