    Not sure which section to post::

    Okay my dog ate my ac adapter, and I am trying to go back to 1.5 . I have the usb cable that charges and my battery level is at 100%. But this is where it gets funky. At 100% with the power cable in it will say the battery level is to low, pull the adapter out and it will not run because there is no AC adapter attached. I have heard rumors about a button config that will bypass this and run the update. Some one said triangle and the R trigger, but tht does not work. Anyone know if this is possible?

    Why would it be stupid to risk it??? Obviously he has 100% battery so it wouldn't be any different if he HAD an AC adapter and had 100% battery and chose not to plug it in.

    PSPs dont brick at 100% buddy...

    L and triangle for an OE firmware, but what about the 1.5 official? I will try this to see if it works. At 100% its not stupid, the most I have seen a battery drain during an upgrade/downgrade was like 8%. The chances of my battery dying during the process are 0.

    EDIT::::
    L and triangle bypassed it, that or it just decided to work coincidentally that time. My PSP is being funny lately, not funny ha ha; funny.

    Why are you stupid enough to not even know how to quote a post?

    A shit load of more things could go wrong, you'd be a lot safer just to have the ac plugged in.

    what I do before installing OE:

    charge until 100%
    format the memory stick
    and create new fresh DXAR (never repeat dxar it may corrupt sometimes) since am using a fake stick and its very possible to get it corrupted
