I dont think he bricked that many. Hes not just going to try something know that it has hardly any chance of working.

Hes probly pretty sure before he trys to downgrade/upgrade a psp.

Wow, I dont know how many but I'm pretty sure theres a few or a handful of PSPs he bricked.

Theres no way he didnt brick any since this downgrading/upgrading "deal" is not that easy to code.

I think he had testers too...so it probably wasn't all done on his PSPs.

I used to do something called "hotswapping" when fiddling with motherboard bioses long ago. Perhaps he utilizes something simliar. The man's a genius, I wouldn't put it past him to have some system not unlike hotswapping to avoid permanently bricking his PSPs.

He uses a PSP Emulated Environment to simulate PSP protocols. I'm sure he reviews the code to make sure it works. If he doesn't have a mod chip he probably sends the release to one of his crew to test it first. They are too smart to just try it on a PSP without a mod chip, unless they have too. He (himself) hasn't bricked many if at all, I think Mathieulh did once tho, I don't remember for a fact. I love how people are curious how its done or how many hes bricked (blah blah) but don't bother investigating it from the source...

    Thats what I was thinking.

By simply having a program on your PC, that acts as if it is the Psp (hardware and Software) He can test all his programs like that

I still stand by testers too. Remember when he released the downgradter for (something like 2.60). He had someone test it, and they said it was fine. That person never really tested it and then a whole bunch of people bricked their PSPs.
