So, it's seems as though when one reaches a certain age they are expected to stop doing certain things. Acting like an immature a$$ for starters, going to clubs, etc. Acting immaturely I can understand. Going to clubs the jury is still out on. What about playing video games though? When should a person hang up the controllers? I love video games to death. I’ve been playing video games since the age of five. Nearly 25 years has past since then ( you do the math ). I’ve owed many a gaming system. Currently I’m just down to my cripple PSP and two PS2’s on life support. My PSP is my best friend. My wife feels she should be my best friend. I disagree. That’s another story all together though. Really, I mean, could you picture yourself at 50 still gaming? I still watch cartoons to this day and will continue to. I don’t see myself giving up gaming any time in the near or distant future. When my lil’ one grows up, I pray she is as much into gaming as I am so I have someone’s arse to kick in Tekken 10. What’s the view on this subject?

    Bless

If I did my math right, I am about your age and I still game and plan to game for the rest of my life. There really is no precendence for out growing games since video games are themselves relatively young. My fiancee is accepting of my gaming habits. She knows I have been gaming for years and she does not try to change that. She actually bought me my ps3. I plan to share gaming with my kids when I get around to having some.

In short, you are never to old to pursue the things in life that bring you joy.

    syko,

I dont know you and Im proud of you man! your what I am..

    You said:

I cant agree more with you, people that OMG go out, clubs, SMOKE, drink as leeches drinking blood. Its just to look BIG and COOL. I hate that and Normally see them lowly, Bcause you practically are "poisoning" yourself doing it. Or these people thinking they are soo cool bcause they get "DRUNK". Come on... Get slapped across the face and wake up! your NOT cool...

But yeah i agree with Drizle....

Age does not matter, if you LOVE IT! do it. If some person says I'm 30 im too old for Cartoons hes/shes being fake.. if you like it and love it. Do it.. Its your innerself; what you are!.. And be that way always.

My fiance sometimes says you love that PSP more than me :P I just laugh because she knows who I truly love.. And shes joking aorund. But yeah this seems to be a case with chick :P.

Good luck man! and keep on playing,

Man, you can't possibly know how many times a week I hear that. " You don't care about me! All you do is sit on that damn computer and play your PSP! "
You know what, YEA!!!!! That's all I do. Never mind the fact that I work a 13 hour day, pay all the bills, cook and clean, then make time to be a father to my child. So if I want to have a little down time and button tap for 3 hours out of a night, then i'm going to do it.

I remember when I had a girlfriend that would come over to play Grand Turismo with me. That was the best time of my life. Had no responsibilities, a brand new PS1, and a hot girlfriend that enjoyed playing games with me. Not because she really liked gaming, but she knew it would make me happy and my happiness meant the world to her. My Ex bought me my first PS2. I worship her to this day. My wife on the other hand, we may have to get a divorce. J/K

I am 30 and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon, although I don't see myself continuing on with new technology. I love the old games; the pick up and play...and yes, I think I will be 70 and still playing Super Mario Bros.

My gf loves games too.....she is addicted, but it isn't her life. I never wanted a "girl gamer" because I know when to put the controller down, and I want the same...

She loves her DS, and she loves anime...so we have a good time watching shows and talking about them and games and so forth. I would say I am really lucky...

I can't cook. But I blame that on genetics....my mom and dad both had the "shitty cooking" recessive trait when they passed their DNA to me.
