At least 15 times for me, not just on carpet...i'm amazed I haven't had to replace my LCD screen yet.

Jesus, I can't even count it. The third time was the one that killed my UMD drive and broke a component on my motherboard. I've dropped it many times since. Down stairs, on concrete, dropped it then kicked it accidentally while walking. I've been lucky that the only thing wrong with it is a broken UMD drive. ( and before i get asked why i didn't just replace the UMD assembly, i did and even adjusted the pot to the correct ohms measure and it still doesn't work )

My psp has taken a lot of shit from me, not that i don't care about it. It usually slams against the opposite side my car's dash when im speeding through a turn, or it slides off off into the seat when i accelerate hard. ever since i added that ferrari logo at the back of my psp it seems to have more grip and doesnt slide off as much...hmm, mayb i need a stronger engine.

I take care of my tech toys, so mine has barely been dropped, only one and my ring strap broke, but I already changed it . No other damages.

mine hit the floor once, and only once. it was because of that stupid logitech pocket gear case. i grabbed the half that covers the front of the psp, the back half flopped downwards, allowing my psp to tumble to the ground. i wish that case had a screen thing to keep the psp in the case firmly. and it broke my umd door. well, cracked it, but still, i was pissed.

went out and got the psp case looks just like the logitech pocket gear one, except it holds 2 duos, 2 umds, and has a screen protector that just clips in over the screen too. +10 cool points.

    i have never dropped mine
its always in its case enless im playing
its still as flawless as that day i got it

I generally take care of all my stuff too
you wont find many if any scratches on my ps2 or psx games

but i can see how it would be easy to drop the psp
Almost have a few times, but was able to avoid the fall.

I may be able to type, but spelling is something I forgot to learn...
