Drive-In Movie Theaters...?

There are three of them here in Oregon. The closest one for me is about 20 minutes away. They charge $6 a person and play two new movies. My goal last year was to go every other weekend when they change both movies but I only made it three times. I will try for more this year.

They usually have cruise-ins with classic cars and there is a hearse rally where about 30 hearses show up.

Does anybody else go to the Drive-In any more? If so, where?

When I had my 69' Mercury we'd hit the drive-in here in Mooresville. We would pull up near the gate with a carload and a few people would hop into the trunk and we'd get like 8 people in a movie for the price of four.

Damn I miss that car. It had bench seats so big you could seat 4 in the front and 4 in the back comfortably. I really wanna get another big ol' classic coupe one of these days.

havent been too one in like 10years, i dont think there is any more in CT. Last movie i remember seeing at one was Twister.

last one i saw at a drive in was independence day and mission impossible lol... there is one about 40- minutes from me in a town called "Poughkeepsie" but its also known for its clubs and white castle, far more popular than the drive in..

if spiderman 3 comes to the drive in, ill see it there though

i used to but the last time I went our car got hit by lightning. That was pretty cool.

I dont go anymore because its just easier to go the the regular theatre.

The last drive in theater in know of around the dallas area closed down about 8 years ago, so I haven't been in quite a while.

We have one out here, but it is scheduled to close next summer. That sucks....drive-ins are awesome.

I saw Night at the Museum and Eragon last time I went. I took Maria; it was her first time ever going to the drive-ins..and she loved it.

drive in movies down here are just to ghetto now. so i just go to a regular movie theater

We have a drive in here in Wichita, KS. Theres two screens each playing 3 movies and it costs $8 a person.

I have one about a 30 min drive away. Last movie I saw there was finding Nemo and Pirates of the caribbean I think..

I went to one with my parents and one of my sisters one time, we saw one movie I can't remember and swat, the audio was broadcasted over the radio and whatnot, and I just layed on the roof of my SUV and watched SWAT, it was awesome

I just found out that a new drive in opened about 30 minutes from my house. They have 4 screens so they show 8 movies a night. You can watch 2 movies for $6 a person. I think my fiancee and I are going to go check it out soon.
