your comapring two devices with different main objectives. The iPod is specifically for media, where as the PSP is targeted mainly at gaming as well as having multimedia capabilities. As a music player the PSP is a joke compared to an iPod, 8gb maxium capacity and less oragnization. Video is a toss up, I would prefer the screen on my PSP to an iPod but storage comes into play once again. If we are just talking about music capabilites the PSP is like a walkman in comaprison.

I have them both, but I have a PHOTO IPOD 30GB..

But nothing like my psp, I normally go to a Cafe where Brittany works and my psp is my best companion while I sit there and my fiance works.

I would just get sick of listening to music the whole time there.... I rather have a PSP.. but I must admit ipods kick butt. I love mine.

So I voted for PSP.. WITHOUT a doubt.

Well, I wouldn't buy an iPod, because I hold a grudge against them (the reason is unknown to me, however...).

I love my Zune, and I love my PSP. I am sort of becoming more of a music person, especially with me working in an environment where music is played 24/7. We sell music shirts, we listen to the music we love. We share our tastes in music. If you had asked me a year ago I would have said PSP without any doubt, but now I'm not so sure.

    So, I'm not deciding :0.

PSP Vs. Ipod? Are you serious?

There's just no comparison there. An Ipod is for listening to music and maybe watching some videos. A PSP is for playing games but it has some (less-than-great) media capability, like urineanus said.

It's like comparing apples to oranges - you just can't do it.

currently id like to have a hp ipaq w/ the biggest SD memory card i can find. cant beat that really... touch screen, full featured web browser, plays videos natively, music player, etc. runs around $260 plus another like... $120ish for a big memory card, and it will blow the psp out of the water when it comes to multi media capibilities.

ipods dont play games either. and solcom sucks... it sucked badly on the psp. the ipaq is a MULTI MEDIA device... its not ment for gaming. i bet emulators would work on it... and better then the psp. 600mhz cpu ftw

apples to oranges, and the iPhone is gonna eat that crummy iPaq for a snack. Ipod fits better in your front pocket, PSP fits good in the back but there is the potential to sit on it. An ipod Hard drive could have fit in an iPhone, and it pisses me off they did not do it that way. Instead they are going to release the 6/8 GBs for like 6 months and then bigger ones will come out. I'm die hard Apple fan forever, but seriously thats gay. A 40gb iPhone will kick so much ass it will be unreal. The way the screen works is way badass, makes nintendo DS look terrible. I am excited for the iPhone but I am still gonna hold of for a year for the bigger version which is going to come about the 6-8 month mark after the initial release, mark my words.

for anyone who has not seen this bad boy in action

iphone is friggen expensive too. the ipaq is a budget priced pda/media device, and carries a much better bang for the buck, atleast for me. i dont need a multi media phone, nor do i ever call anyone, so that entire feature is worthless to me
