when i opened up my psp i looked in side took the metal thing off then put it back on when i turned it on there was blue smoke comin out of it. i turned it off opened it back up and i found that that grey thing(the one with that connects the power board to the rest of the psp, was melted, i was wondering if anybody had that wire thing for me to have and of they could put it in an envilope and send it other wise i have to buy a new psp. can anybody halp im ****in almost crying right now(not really but close to cause this thing is the only gamin system i have. can anybody help me cause i dont want to buy a new psp???? ill even pay if you want me too(max of like 5 bucks)(its the power board cable)I WILL BE WILLING TO PAY!!!(all i can afford to buy is the cable)(i found another name for it, it is the r button, buttons, and power board RIBBON)

How does blue smoke come out of your psp, and how does it melt? Lol one of the most funniest stories ive ever heard.

Buy a BRICKED Psp, and used it for repair pieces. Just get the 'whatever' piece you need from the bricked one and put it on yours.

That should be fixed ^^^

i dont know how the blue smoke came out of it man it freaked me out, i was playing then the screen started to get musty then the smokstarted to come from the buttons and i said oh shit and i opened it up, the connector part was touching the metal cage and i think i had a wire loose from dropping it(which made the ribbon come loose in the first place) and it ****in fried it.

no no i put everything back where it was just i dropped my psp after wards and it pulled the ribbon out and it touched teh metal casing and started it on fire, like wtf i did not know that would happen.i cleaned the lcd screen thank god it was just surface smoke but the ribbon is melted off. i need it to select anything and the lights dont work anymore, the ribbon is toast.
