I just bought a psp from someone who had applied a skin. I didnt like it so I took it off and now I havee a very ugly, very sticky, residue(like that from a sticker) I was wondering if there is any way to safely remove this or if it will go away with time...I really want to start using my psp. thanks!

rubbing alcohol and elbow grease is the safest.

I've also had luck with wd-40 applied to a rag.

goo gone will work, but may harm the surface

ohh just remembered, ammonia! ammonia works a treat... and smells like cat pee so it's got two positives LOL!

if there's any blobs of adhesive left, just rub the faceplate with your thumb until it gets to the edge, that should take care of most of it, then use rubbing alcohol for the rest. I would stay away from goo-gone and other chemicals like acetone, because they can cause clouding to the polycarbonate outer layer.

stop watching p0rn on your psp... best way to prevent sticky residue

all seriousness aside, try a anti-static wipe. they carry them at walmart. its basically alchol on a soft cloth. 3 bucks for 300 of them

get your mind out of the gutter Julie . You can also try microfiber cloths they're great just dappen the cloth and use it. But the best part is its reusable. you can use it over and over, and it won't scratch your screen but be careful because you can pick up particles that may be able to scratch it, so clean it well.
