    hey guys long time i dont post just want to know of a good program to record my own songs by like having the song in the background and i sing anyone know of such program?
    IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT BOTH PSP PHAT OR SLIM PM ME.

    audacity is good just need to know what program can take the voice off songs?

    if you invert the waveform of one channel and merge them into one mono track anything that is not panned to either side will be removed due to phase cancellation, but it sometimes sounds terrible. There is no way to take the vox off a track cleanly. Your computer doesnt know the difference between vocal sound waves and any others once they have been mixed down.

    anything should work fine really. I used to use GoldWave, then i started using audacity. I may use Kristal next time i record something. Theres a plugin that does it for you, if i find it ill send you a linky.
