I am trying to sell my Nintendo Wii and the buyer is telling me that he cannot find any option to let him instantly transfer money. Does anyone know a way that he can instantly transfer money from his bank account to mine? Maybe a way to instantly send it to his Paypal account? The only way he can do the deal right now is if I send him the Wii before any money processes. This is just too risky for me. Any ideas would be very helpful, thanks.

I was thinking about that....but isn't it bad to give out your account number to strangers?

Paypal should really have an instant add money feature.

as the holder of the item, you should force him to send money first. if he doesnt agree, find another buyer.

We worked things out....hopefully if he deposits money into his Paypal account today and it takes 2-3 days for it to get in he should be able to get me the money before I send it and still have the item arrive in time for Christmas. Cross your fingers.

That guy is such a noob. Tell him to add his checking account to his Paypal account or a credit card. Then tell him to transfer money from Checking account to Paypal. *3-4* days..

Then he'll have the money on Paypal. Now he can pay you! also if you want him to pay instantly tell him to pay you instantly this is called an (e-check) this means he pays you via paypal directly from his checking account without transferring the money from his checking account first.. SO this means you'll wait 4 days also.

    either way works.

i'm kinda lost here. if you both have paypal, he can send you the money from his account to yours. instantly. he doesn't need to transfer money from his bank account into paypal, paypal will do that to begin w/, won't they? if you don't have the money in your paypal account it'll just come out of your bank account.

I think PayPal has the Instant Transfer option if you have a credit card linked to the account. That way, if the ACH transfer fails, they can still get the funds from your backup credit card.
-> still can't figure out why

I am not sure what happened but the guy on the other end of the deal decided not to go through with it. I am not sure if he was trying to get me to send the Wii first to steal it or something but I am kinda pissed about the whole thing. It seemed like he just really wanted me to send the Wii before I got the money and when that did not happen he ended the deal. He told me not to sell it to anyone else and reserve it for him. I took it down from every other site I had it on even refused someones offer because he said he was going to buy it. I was counting on the money he has supposedly already put into his Paypal account. Man I hate people that go back on what they say.

I know it take 2-4 days to transfer money from my paypal account to my bank account, and I think it takes the same amount of time when I buy something using my paypal account, since I don't keep a balance in my paypal account (so they have to debit my bank account to add funds to my paypal account before paying the seller).
