i am using a Linksys Wireless G broadband router with speed booster and it is compatible with both G and B but i cant seem to connect to any of my games on the infrastructure mode. someone mentioned to me that i should try changing the channel because it seems like i am getting interferance, but the router didnt come with a manual, just some CD to install Linkseys EasyLink Advisor, so does anyone know how to change channels so i can see if it is really what i need to play on infrastructure mode

    do this
assuming youre on a windows pc
    click the start menu
    click accessories
    click command prompt
    type
    ipconfig /all

take the primary dns server number
    open the internet browser
type the number into the browser address bar
    (probably 192.168.2.1)

    then just go to channel
    and change the channel

yes your computer has to be "hard-wired" to your router, which can be a real pain in the groin if your computer happens to be in a different room than your modem.

    "don't fucking ask me. i don't know..."
