    Its A Non-Viral Registry / ActiveX Edit.

It Tells IE To Link You To Phishing Websites Wanting Your Personal Information - Do NOT Give Them Any Information (As If That Isn't Obvious)

Rather Then Re-installing IE And Purging Your Registry Entries You Can Just Use Firefox.

    However,

To Keep These Popups From Coming Up (And Wasting Your Resources And Bandwidth) You Need To Disable IE.

    Do This:

    Click:

Start Menu, Control Panel, Internet Options.

Click The "Connections" Tab And Click The "LAN Settings" Button.

Put a tick in the check box next to "Use a Proxy Server for your LAN ...”

Type in "0.0.0.0" in the address box and "80" in the Port box. Don't type in the quote marks of course, just what's inside them.

    Click OK.

This Will Prevent IE From Connecting To The Internet - That Way You Should Have No More Pop-ups (And Even If You Do They Won't Direct You To Any Malicious Websites)

    Hope This Helps

P.S. CCleaners Registry Function Will Not Get Rid Of These Edits - As They Are Not Incorrect Or Missing Parameters.

    Ok,

However I Would Highly Recommend Disabling / Not Using IE.

It Could Possibly Be Using An Embeded Keylogger Via An Active X Control That Could Steal Your Information.

I love all these suggestions, lol, nubs.

First off dude, get higher resolution pictures, I couldn't see shit.
Secondly, you need to get rid of Norton. Get NOD32 or Kaspersky.
Also get an anti-spyware, windows defender is very good and free (if you're genuine).
Last but not least, don't use IE. I'm not a Microsoft hater of any sort, but lol there's no reason to use IE. Keep IE installed for windows updates, go download Firefox, or Chrome. Don't disable IE to connect, you need it for windows updates, just don't use it.

Take my advice seriously if you want to remove that virus and stay virus free.

    Because its commercial crap.
I had it, all it does is lags your comp and updates itself every 10 minutes.

Get an anti-virus like NOD32 (thats what i use, and i havent bought another norton subscription for about a 2 years.)

How was what you said any different from anyone else?

For a good free AV, you can try AVG as well.

Well mainly because I'm not speculating 'what it could be' or telling him to disable web browsers to fix his problem, or even saying deleting your cookies will delete it lol, I told him to get a better anti-virus and anti-spyware which will not only remove the virus, but most likely help him from getting any others.

Wow, I just saw that he said he scanned with Norton 360....

I don't even have an AV, it makes my startup slower.

All you fools know how to hack a PSP and make it do all kinds of amazing things but none of you know how to properly remove virus/adware?! Not calling anyone stupid, but the obvious things to do here is:

1)boot up Windows to "safe mode"

2)clear all cache and history in IE7.

3)scan/remove all adware using Lavasoft Ad-Aware or something
    (update adware definition before scanning)

4)scan/remove all viruses using whatever anti-virus program you have (update virus definition before scanning)

5)use a registry cleaner like Registry Mechanic or something to clean out the registry

6)reboot windows to "normal mode" and probably do a defragmentation and you should be ok

These should be the basic maintenance steps of keeping your system running clean, smooth and free of virus/adware.

oh yeah forgot to mention... the crap thats popping up in your screen shots, its definitely adware... don't click on any of that shit.. not even "cancel" it only make things worst. kill it in the task manager and reboot to safe mode and follow the above steps. the reason why u are unable to clear this crap, because when you fire up windows in normal mode these adware starts up with windows.. ones its started and running you won't be able to delete it... when u go to safe mode it will disable everything and only start windows with the minimal amount of programs it needs. thats when u can scan and remove virus/adware.
