but windows owns everything else for boring things like spreadsheets.
so, if im right... id say have a mac, with a semi decent pc and have all the fun in the world

02-25-2006, 06:22 AM An Intel Mac dual booting linux, and running Windows in VMware under linux. As long as you have big hardrive and with then new dual core intel macs its got a lot of power to run Rosetta which is good for backwards compatability with programs that were written for the PPC Chip. Damn I want an Intel Mac.
02-25-2006, 12:18 PM what do you mean windows is boring, people who have accounting jobs need crap like spreadsheets and word ect, but windows does media too. I hate mac you have to in england go to a specialist pc shop or the apple shop in london to get bloody games for it. and even then do you only get a small selection, so i hardly think that mac gives great entertainment when there are nowhere near as many games for it as windows.

its mac as a lifestyle tool, not an information machine.
iWeb has to be the best internet authoring software for beginners out.
and garrage band is really fun, and well.. everyone knows what itunes is.
