    I Need help with system restore on my Windows Xp Home Edition.
    When Ever i press on system restore, the window pops-up but it blank.
    blank just plane blank. i need to restore my pc.
    can someone help me. is there another way or can i fix this?

    did you delete the restore points

    XP sytem restores suck badly, unless you use a separate program. Vistas' are a lot better but I don't know if there completely safe to rely on.

    did u try safe mode? hit f8 during boot,boot safe mode, it will ask u if you want to restore unless u erased all your restore points

    use the recovery disk that came with ur pc
    or reinstall xp (search torrents)
    and use ubuntu linux to backup ur files

    ihateu my step dad lost the disk and torrents are not safe

    ok, try dloading ubuntu (completely legit) its free and quick

    it is free, but that's a new OS so make sure to reformat your hard drive, if you want a fresh install

    What do u mean reformat. want that delete everthing on there.

    yes, but I believe ubuntu uses the same memory format as windows, but it might ask you to format

    no, u can install it inside windows just like any normal program
    or run it from the disk
