Hi there. I have a 2001 Honda Prelude, (DOHC VTEC). It's the Base Model, which means no Manual transmission. It does have a "Sport Shift" option, but I want the real deal. I've searched google, and it's relatively cheap, ($2,000-$3,000) - including labor. I've seen the list of things required, and they all vary; one list says I only need a few things, while another says I'll need a LOT more... Also, there's no particular guide for my 5th gen Lude. I know this swap-out is possible. Could someone maybe post a list of EVERYTHING I could possibly need? And maybe a tutorial? I might just have it professionally installed, but I'd still like to see what I'm/they're getting themselves into...

    Thanks in advance!

...Because it's a VTEC...? That's just an engine trim, there's the H22 DOHC VTEC, then the H23 2.3 L (No-VTEC). If you want to see some pics you can PM me your cell #. I'll show some pics.

Edit: That pic doesn't apply to my car, I have an APEX'i VTEC controller.

I'm just messing with ya dude, a Honda VTEC is a stereotypical ricer car, just google it and you'll see what i mean.

As long as you don't think like this -

    You'll be ok.
