Maybe this is a useless thread, but I'm curious what other people's desktop on their pc looks like

Maybe we could even vote on who has the coolest, maybe 1st, 2nd, 3rd ----- just alittle something different to do

    Here's my Desktop :

Sorry I made my image so big guys, I can make it smaller if you like, I often forget most people do not run their resolution at 1280 X 1024, some nice desktops I see great Job!

EDIT : I shrunk my pic down.

objectdock helps, and so does disbiling icons on your desktop
ive also got the start bar to hide now, so its uber clean.
objectdock pro has tabs, which can be used like the start bar, or a dock on a mac.
it works pretty well, and helped me switch.

    www.stardock.com

i also see tzone has it too its kickass.

My desktop is very clean. I have a "My Computer", "Recycle Bin", and "My Documents" folders and that about it. I move all my desktop shortcuts to a second navbar I dock at the top of the screen. I also keep an address bar up there so I can launch a webpage without having to fire up a browser window first. I also have the regular navbar with the start button docked at the bottom, both set to auto hide. I'll post pics when I get home from work.

EDIT: I locked the two navbars so you would see them, but usualy they are hidden til you mouse over the bottom or top of the screen. And yes my monitor is wide screen, thus the 16x9 ratio and not the 4x3 And it iis windows XP but I much perfer the classic look to the big color XP look.
    Before you post please

on mac... yeah, if you look at the post, the bottom ones my pc, and the top is my mac, i like dashboard on mac, because it does at one mouse click, what tzones widgets do, and probably more, i have an itunes lyric widget, a cpu/ram moniter, a bouncy ball, the date, weather, stocks and shares, a calculator, and a countdown to my birthday

i only got the mac a week ago.
