dead pixels are very common, i have 2 myself. There are dead pixel cleaners (google) which sometimes work, i used to have 3 until i ran it for 2 days. What color is the pixel? If its stuck it can be fixed, i think. If its dead its just gonna be a little annoyance.

google the dead pixel cleaner, its a video in psp format that changes colors really fast and is effective against these pixels. Let it run overnight and tommorow afternoon stop it and if its still there, its unfixable.

I have around 5 stuck pixles, and at least one dead one.
Today has been the most beautiful day I've ever seen.

Another problem with the psp is that when you close the umd holder and look at it from the top it still looks not completely closed and thats why I think alot of psp games freeze! Am I the only one who noticed this umd holder problem?

Actually the UMD door problem has been a problem and has been noticed since launch. I think they have made it better. If your UMD is not being read and you dont know what the problem is, push the UMD door and see if it reads. If the UMD door is the problem, then send it in to sony or where ever you bought it. I have not read many reports on this but I know its a problem.
