05-22-2006, 11:30 PM is there a chance that sony will try to make its game prices alot more affordable? this is the only thing that pisses me off. freakin 50 bucks for a good game. that surly hurts ppl that doesnt have much to spend on games. i know that im not alone and i hope that sony understands or will they ever? for now HOMEBREW i love you

05-22-2006, 11:55 PM Yeah, console games are supposed to start off at 50. Portable games, should in turn, start off around 40. A lot do, but for the ones that dont i just get a used one.

i make more money now than i used to so im fine. a good new game should cost around 50 dollars. people worked hard on it and they should get what they deserve.
who cares if it's on a hand held, the handheld games are getting much more advanced, and therefore require more work to make good.
so im willing to pay and extra 10-20 bucks for a quality game.

05-22-2006, 11:58 PM I believe that now that games are usuing more expensive disks, the price shot up on games! EVENTUALLY, they will lower, but by then, new, and expensive, ways of storing info which are more efficent....sad....

05-23-2006, 04:35 AM I think that the prices around 50 is good i mean sony went all new. They made a new type of disk even witch cost probly more mony cuz it holds more space. I mean game boy nothing new just the same old CARTRICHES ps1 dreamcast ps2 pc all of them have same old sized disks. Nw sony came out with a new Universal Media Disk. Hold more than most CD's.
05-23-2006, 04:42 AM eh, I rip a lot of my own Umds, and I have every Iso and over 300 Mp4 movies and shows, and I actually made money from them by selling them, so, I'm glad the price is so high!

The PSP is suppose to have a greatest hits collection coming out pretty soon so they'll be 20 bucks.....
